Finasteride is often used to treat men with symptoms of an enlarged prostate. However, it can also be used to treat men for hair loss.
It can take up to 4 months for the effect to be noticeable and more than a year for full hair growth.
Finasteride does not work in women with male pattern baldness.
Important – Pregnant women must not touch crushed or broken Finasteride tablets. This medicine passed through the skin can harm an unborn baby.
